What is Early Intervention?
Early Intervention services focus on the overall developmental growth of children birth to age 3. Services are provided in the child’s most natural environment (home, daycare, preschool, park, church, etc.) and address goals defined in the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Parent involvement is encouraged and crucial to the success of these services. Staff providing this service meet, exceed, or are working toward the NC Infant-Toddler Certification requirements.
